Red butterfly pin

The other day as I looked for a pair of earrings I came across a big two tier jewellery box. It revealed two smaller jewellery boxes. A wooden one with at least half a dozen silver tone pins and brooches, mostly vintage. The other box held a few more gold toned ones. While brooches and pins made a comeback sometime last year its not often that I consider these when putting together an outfit. So today, for a change, I did: placed my red rhinestone butterfly pin on one side right below the turtle neck fold. Are your pins also stashed in a box in the back of the closet ?

I love the little accent colour! So cute. My pins are in three places:
1. the modern ones are in a drawer in my large jewelry box
2. the vintage ones are in a tray in my grandma's jewelry box
3. my giant flower and furry ones are pinned to a strip of ribbon in my closet (away from Vizzini).

I don't have any pins which is a shame as I love how this adds just a little colour and interest to your outfit, it's a really nice accessory :)

Come to think of I know I own many pins. Some are probably in my in-laws home in Albania and some are lost but I need to find in my closets here in USA. I even own two butterfly ones but have no clue where they disappeared to. Love your little red butterfly pin. Was it cold there when you wore this?
